Dear Many Friends of TAP,
On behalf of TAP's Board of Directors, it is with great regret that I inform you about the forthcoming closing of The Amadeus Project at 1209 Cornwall Avenue on February 28, 2013. We, as well as our next door neighbors, have quite unexpectedly had our lease terminated after five years due to the owner wishing to prepare the space for another enterprise.
The Board realizes this will come as a great shock and leave you in the difficult position of procuring another venue for your activities. We can do nothing but apologize as there is utterly nothing we can do to circumvent this unpredicted situation.
To those of you who are interested and for whom this applies, TAP will continue to exist as a non-profit entity but will be focused entirely in the realm of music education, with Andrea and I teaching in our home studios. The closing of the 1209 Cornwall Avenue location will therefore have no effect on any of TAP's students other than an alternate location.
Please know that we certainly would not have scheduled this entire year had we any notion of this termination. And please accept our heartfelt appreciation for your past support of TAP. We do genuinely wish you the very best in your future artistic endeavors, and we consider ourselves fortunate that we were able to serve you these past years.
