Ron Pattern
Ron Pattern feels that a painter should have a child-like curiosity and awareness of the visual world in order to capture the fleeting glimpses and dramatic moments in time. As he absorbs his daily environment, he is entranced by the drama of light and shadow, the tension of texture, line, and form. Ron states "I've always felt compelled to explore my life with pigment and brush - it is how I make sense of my emotional attachment to my experiences and environment." "Woods and Water", showing Ron Pattern's bold, realistic landscapes on canvas, will be at The Amadeus Project in February.
